TIMARU, August 6. Charles Lane and John Hinton, fashionably dressed young men—Hinton recently from England, and Lane from Melbournewere arrested here on Saturday on a series nf charges of obtaining money by tho trick known as "ringing the changes." Tho accused wore before the court this morning, wiicn it. ufos shown that- they had obtained money from several business places in Timani in this way, and they were sonfenced to three months' imprisonment.
