(Received August 6, at 9.7 a.m.) The mutinous sailors at Kronstadt arrested Captain Krinitsky, and arraigned him before a hastily-summoned tribunal, including civilians and women. Thereupon Krinitsky bolted, and none of the shots that were fired after him touched him. The mutiny at Gogane was quelled. Two hundred sailors were arrested. SHOOTING THEIR OFFICERS. ST. Refusing to disperse when ordered, that, officer fired his revolver at the men, who poured a volley into the officers, killing six and wounding four, whilst another was bayoneted and then hanged. The chaplain was similarly treated. EIGHT POLICEMEN KILLED. August 6. (Received Aug. 6, at 10.18 p.m.) A collision between the police and some workmen occurred at the SeMroretsh Railway Station, St. Petersburg, and eight of the police were killed. He was recently dismissed from the army for spreading propaganda among the soldiers.
