TjnjRSOAY, July 20. (Before M r C. C. Graham, S.M.) The Inebria.les.~A. first offender pleaded ".Guilty" to being dtvmk in Princes street the previous day, and was fined ss, with tho usual alternative. For being drunk on tho railway station, John Kolton was fined'lss, with this option of going to gaol for fivo days.—Morris Mannheim, charged with being drunk in George street the da.y before, and also with being an habitual drunkard, pleaded "Guilty," and was fined. 2fls and 2s cab hire, in default one week's imprisonment with hard labour.

Uy-law Offence.—Alexander Farqnharson was charged with being the owner of throe head of cattle, and allowing them to wander on tho Town Belt.—Defendant pleaded " fiuilty," and was fined 10s, and costs (7s). Unregistered Dogs.-James Murphy and Alfred Driscoll woro charged with having dogs over six months' old and unregistered.— The latter did not appear.—both accused were fined 6s. and costs (7s). For tho same offence James Deans, who did not appear, was fined 10a, and costs, his being an Aggravated offence.

Bafn, an infant, was charged with being a child within the meaning of the Industrial Schoo'.s Act,— After hearing the evidence of the mother, the child was committed to the Caversham, Industrial School, to ho brought up in (ho. Presbyterian form of religion; the order made against the father for 5s per week to bedovoted towards its upkeep.
