The foundation for tho light nas |j-;cn prepared for somo time, si> thai as scon as the-la inn is fitted up little time will be lost in nlpcing it ill position. The .Marino Department ha* decided to improvo the high-level light at Pcncarrow by substituting one of Matthows's incandescent vapourised oil occulting lamps for tlio fixed light which has done, duty there [or some years past.
