(From Oue Own Connr.sPONnnxT.) ■ CLYDE, June 28. At the inquest held /yesterday on tho body of the man found drowned in the Molyncux River, near Clyde/• the jury returned a vctdict of " Pound downed, there, being no evidence of identification." One witness present identified the hoots as simi-. lar to boots purchased from him by Anderson. A female witness said that she had washed socks for Anderson similar to those produced, but would not swear tlm darning was her work. Tho patch of the underpants was similar in texture to the .underpants worn by Anderson. As a body said to be that of Anderson was [oulid and buried at Cromwell some four months ago, the partial identification of the clothing on the remains found hero as being those belonging to Anderson deepens the mystery.
