Tito annual degree-day ceremony took place iu Canterbury College Hall this afternoon, when tho proceedings were more orderly and subdued than usual. 11l the absence of the chancellor and viee-chancel-lar tho degress were conferred by Professor Cook. The list of degrees was an unusually long one, ami comprised 10 Bachelors of Arts. thrce_ Hr.ciiclors of Science, four BiwheSors of Law, two Bachelors of Engineering (electrical), five J3.Sc. :n Engineering (mechanical!, three Masters of Art-s, five Masters of Science, ono Master of Laws, one Doctor of Literature, threo Senior Scholarships, three Honours iu Arts, two Honours in Science, and 1851 Exhibition Science Scholarship.
