A BAND ROTUNDA FOR ST. CLAIR.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l was .pleased to read subleader oil Saturday, undei the"', heading " Ocean Bcach Domain Board," your question "Why is such a. seaside resort as St. Clair without a- hand rotunda?" This is a question which might well be asked, and should be considered very seriously by the City Council, for T am sure if there waa a rotunda wc would have a band playing hero as frequently as at the. Gardens, anil the oxtra revenue from tho tram faros would soon pay for its erection, as I am eure large numbers would bo induced to come out in tho cars who now walk to tho Gardens. As I understand another groin is to be nut down, tho cost of driving a few piles in the sand for a rotunda., say at the "end of Beach street, would be considerably reduced if it were dono while the machinery is available. I would also suasrest to the City Council the necessity of placing a urinal somewhere at St. Clair, —I am, oto.. Resident.
