Tho Debentures will bear interest at the rate of £4 per £100 per annum, payable halfyearly. file currency of the Loan will be to tho Ist day of March, 1922. Principal and interest may bo made pay. able in London, Melbourne, Sydney, or Dunedin, at tho option of the holders. i'he Loan will be secured (subject 83 hereinafter provided) upon the properly, works and undertaking acquired by tho City of Dunedin under "The Waipori Falls Electrical Power Act. 1901." as well while such works are in nn incomplete state ss in their completed state, and being a debt pnyablo by the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Dunedin. The Debentures aro to rank pari passu' as a second charge on the said properly, works and undertaking—namely, next after such of the £72,500 (1901) Debentures of the Corporation as shall for the time being bo milstanding, whether issued before or after the issue hereof. No tender bolow par or for less than £100 will Ire considered. Tenderers of the highest premium will have preference, and to tenderers of equal rates Debentures will be allotted proportionately to tho number applied for. A deposit of £S per £100 tendered for must accompany such tentjer, which will be credited to successful and returned to unsuccessful tenderers., Tho balance will be required to be paid not later than.the 31st day of MAY, 1900.
