YOUNG WOMEN'S BIBLE CLASS MOVEMENT.

O The Easter conference meetings of the New Zealand Young Women's Bible Class Tnion. held at Dimediii al Easter time, were al tended by over 400 young women. Mister Evelyn occupied the chair, and in her presidential address referred to the progress of the Bible Class movement. During 1905 the membership had doubled, and now stood at 2000. The number of classes was 80. and there was a great advance in every department of the work. This year the union hoped lo furl her extend its bounds to combine in missionary enterprise, and to strengthen in every way the spiritual life of its members. Tho Secretary of the Executive Council (Miss .1. Stevenson. Knox Church) presented hr.r annual report, which showed the number or new ela'Sf.s during the year wa-s 36. and the inci-ciue in memliership 900. There were now district unions in Auckland, Wanganui. Wellington, Canterbury, Olago, and Southland. In every respect, the year's work had been successful.; the" sphere of the union had been widened, its organisation strengthened, and interest, increased among its members.
