Our losses have been—By deatli CO, by atrcuw and other causes 210;— total, 2GG. Ten members' wives hove died during the year. According to the returns sent in—and they have all come tn hand—the number of members at December 111, 1303, was 'J'ii£> district funds have increased by £825 17s Id, against £778 10s 3d for 1001. The district funds now stand at £13,047 Is Bd, and the court funds at £41,207 I.ls 8(1; .otal, £53.111, los Id. The amount of interest received by courts v:as 11822 lis Od. and by the district £68D 7s 10(1;—total, £2511 10s 7d. The amount invested in P. 0.5.8. and lixed deposit is 12701 2s G<l; on current account £2752 4s 1(1;—total. £5453 Cs 7d. This shows a considerable improvement, which wc trust will cni-tinue. The total amount oi sick pay disbursed n.v courts amounts to £2795 5s Bd, representing: Jlalc courts, ISO 7 weeks' full pay, '158 weeks 3 (lavs' halt-pay. 1061 weeks •! days' quarter-pay, 15G weeks' reduced p:.y; women's courts—422 weeks' lull pay, 103 weeks 2 days' reduced pay; total, 1705 weeks,' 3 days, against 4547 weeks ior 1004. Court Star oi the Forest was the lowest, which had less than one day's sickncw per member. The District Executive's report, the balance sheet, and the auditors' report were adopted. It wa-s decided that Ihe Foresteis be represented at the proposed i'riendly Societies' Conference, syid Bro. Maslic was appointed delegate. It. was resolved to reaffirm the previous resolution of the aiinual meeting that it is inadvisable to join cither the local or the colonial Friendly Societies' Councils, and lo oppose the centralising of Ihe control of friendb- societies.
