THE NOVEMBER EXAMINATIONS. WELLINGTON, April 1. A sjiecial meeting of tho Senate of the New Zealand University was hold yesterday. The main business was consideration of tlia English examiners' reports on tho degree, honouis, and scholarship examinations of last November. These two provisions require ratification at a general meeting of the Senate. Three candidates for mining engineering who had failed in machine drawing will be allowed to take that subject with .their final examination. Mr Herdnian Smith was appointed an examiner for matriculation.
