(Received March 15, at 8.22 a.m.) Owing to Mv Keif Hardies independent, attitude, a movement is being started to draw closer the political kinship of the Government and the old Labour party. The promoters assert that the Liberal leaders favour a separate organisation to represent the LiberalLabour members of the House of Commons, and they promise substantial financial support to increase their numbers at the next elections. Ry this means it it hoped to create a Labour pprty within the Liberal party. The promoters will not attempt an alliance with Sir Keir Hardie's group.

SUGGESTED NATIONAL THEATRE. (Deceived March 15, at 8.47 a.m.) Mr Asqiiit.li (Chancellor of the Excheqiicr) refuses to grant £50.000 a year for a National Repertory Theatre. A NONCONFORMIST COMMITTEE. The Nonconformist members of Parliament., while avoiding the creation of a separate group, have decided to form a parliamentary committee which will deal wiln all subjects of special and distinctive interest to Nonconformists.

VOTING ON THE FISCAL QUESTION. Mr W. Crooks (Labour member for 'Woolwich) and a few others did not vote on Sir J. Kitson's motion. Lord Eobert Cecil, the Hon, Lionel Rothschild, and six other Unionists voted with the Government on Sir J. Kitson's motion. Disestablishment of the welsh church. LONDON, March 15. Bannerman adhering to his promise to introduce a Welsh Disestablishment Pill on the first available opportunity, Mr Samuel Evans has withdrawn his intended Suspensory Bill, which the Government, on technical grounds, was unable In support.
