EVANGELISTIC MISSION.
Tho Cavorehani Hall was again well filled on Wednesday evening, when Mr C. H. Hinman, evangelist, gave a powerful and stirring account of some of his travels in Palestine. .The prouiul covered was from Jaffa to Jerusalem and lound about Zion. The speaker described vividly the laud, fiio City of Jerusalem, autl many oilier places oi interest and familiar by r.nme to readers of Scripture, such r.9 the Valley iof Ekron, Elnh. and the Hill, a short distance from tho Damascus Gate, called Calvary, referring briefly at the sumo lime to tho incidents l-ecoidcd in Scripture in connection with these different jilaces. In the light of Eastern customs and ways his explanations of many matter in tho Scriptures, hard to bo understood, proved to be very helpful and convincing. He brought forward volnminons evidence in support of the Divine authority, inspiration, and accuracy of tlio Holy Scriptures.
