-» The Otago Model Yacht Club's first point race for an unailoted trophy wis sailed off by the first class model yachts on Lake Logan on Saturday. Thero was plenty 'of wafei in tho lake, and a good N.E. wind blowing. Those present witnessed one of the best starts eeen Uiis season. At the word "Go!!' the yuchts kept well in a line, remaining so for about quarter of a mile. The Millio and Agatha then wont about, thus getting away from tho rest. On the final round tho Spray •■ began to fall back owing to being full of j water,, thus letting the Millie get first, with 1 the Agatha second, and tho An Revoir third ' Time, 39min. Owing to several members j taking part in tho championship for the big , yachts the Becond class rate had to bo postj poned Those intending to tako part in the . race at the Ravensbourne regatta on the ; 2tth ir.st., are reminded thai entries dose en Friday next.
