CITY POLICE COURT.
Monday, February 12. (Before Mr C. C. Graham, S.M.) Breach of the Peace.—George Barratt and Thomas Mercer pleaded " Guilty " to having, on January 31, used behaviour whereby a breach of the peaes was occasioned.—Subinspector Green, who, represented tho police, stated, that the accused were cabiuoii, and had some dispute over a fare. The quarrel came to a climax about 12 o'clock at night, when the two had high words and a bit of a squabble—The Magistrate did not look upon the offence as a very serious one, everything considered, and fined each accused ss, and costs (3s Gd). Hiding Bicycles Without a I/iglit.—For riding bicycles .in Princes and George streets between the hours of sunset and sunrise, John Connor, Percy Wenborn, Frank Williams, and George Moodic were each fined ss, r.nd costs (7s).—All the defendants pleaded "Guilty," and Wenborn and Williams were represented by Mr Goodman,
