Business on the Stock Exchange on Monday was characterised by tho firmness in prices and fairly good inquiry for stocks which ' characterised the market last week. The • actual transactions on 'Change were confined ' to two stocks—viz., Dunstan Lead and Golden Bed, which changed ownership at 5s and 21s 3d respectively, and the market was 101 l with sellers at about the same prices, but buyors were offerin s ft shade lower.
