The decrease in the Commonwealth revenue for the past nine months is £140,000 more than the estimated loss for the whole year. 'Hie Customs returns declined on nearly every item, excepting in Victoria, whicii shows an increase of £66,000. 'ill,? amount of revenue returned lo the States shows considerable decreases, including New .South Wales £77,000 and Queensland £142,000. . . ■ THB PACIFIC CABLE.
