The Wellington Rowing Association forwarded to the council of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association an appeal from the Wellington Rowing Club against the decision of the Wellington Rowing Association in dismissing the protest lodged by the Wellington Rowing Club against the placing of the crews by the judges in the race for the Champion Pairs at the Wellington regatta. In view of the fact that the course was not defined on the official programme, the council decided to uphold the decision of the Welligtnon Rowing Association and .dismiss the appeal. It was also- resolved to' send a circular to local asociatsoins asking them to'see that all courses are defined on programmes brought before them.
