DUNEDIN AND PORT RAILWAY TIME-TABLE.
A meeting; "'as hold m the Mayor's room, Port Chalmers, last evening, when the. Mayor (Mr D. A. Do Maus) occupied the chain In opening the meeting the Mayor explained that owing to the manner in which the notification appeared in the press lie was led to believe that the alteration in the Port Chalmers railway time-table had been made on the sugeestion of Mr Cray, Mayor of West Harbour. He now found this was not Hie ease. The meeting unanimously decided that the proposed time-table would not in any way meet the requirements of tlie travelling public, and a deputation was appointed to wait, on Mr Grant, the District Traffic Manager, to discuss the nuestion. A vote of thanks to liis Worship terminated an enthusiastic meeting.
