Therb was ' a great crowd to welcome them at the ' Manawatu Company's Railway. Station. The weather to-night is fine, but "tho indications for to-morrow are doubtful. Messrs J. L: Kelly and W. Jl'Loughlin, * of Wellington, have collaborated in writing and composing a topical cricket song—"Tho Ij moit and the kahprarob,"—which is to bo ? siiliit by 3ft j?. J. Hill at the conversazione i to be given in the Town Hall to-morrow evening in honour of tho Australian r cricketers. • f
