NEW ZEALAND BOWLING ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the executive of the New Zea- ■ land Bowling Association was held yesterday afternoon in the offioe of "the secretary (Mr R. T. Wheeler) when there wove present Messrs C. J. Payiio (vice-president, in the, chair), P. MilNjr W. C. Allnntt, C. E. ICeast, C. V. I'aterson, M. Sinclair, and R. T. AVlieeler. '• A letter was received, from the Secretary of the Invercargill Bowling Club submitting for approval the programme for the Easter tourna-ment;-Resolved that the programme as submitted be adopted, providing that the clause referring to the- "rules of the association, adopted December IC, 1897/' be altered to rend " August 10,1804," or that the games 1m played under the rules of the later date. The'Becrotarv of the Oamani Bowling Club wrote stating that his chib purposed l holding the usual Easter tournament, and applied for permission to carry out the fixture.. It was reso'.ved that permission could only be granted subject to the programme being approved by the executive. It was dncided to send 3gs as a donation to each of tho caretakers of the Christchurch and Canterbury greens, and 2gs to the caretakers of the Sydenham and St. Albans greens.
