There is a dispute of some years' standing with the Oceanic Company, which is dissatisfied with the amount offered under the poundage system. On the present occasion the amount of poundage on mails was offered, but, as in former instances, refused, leaving an adjustment to be made when negotiations with the Commonwealth are concluded.
