WELLINGTON, Fobruary 2, The receipts to Consolidated Fund for the three months ending December 31 amounted to £2,529,452. This includes £575,945 balance at tho beginning of the quarter. Railways contributed £513,668; Customs, £672,724; stamps, £257,083; land tax, £337,478.

Tho expenditure on permanent appropriations was £963,701, and on annual appropriations £970,913. The sum of £100,000 was transferred to the Public Works Fund, leaving a balanco of £494,837 at the end of the quarter. Tho Public Works Fund shows a balanco of £371,705, and the land for settlements account a balance of £453,911.
