(Received Jan. 12, at 10.65 p.m.) Seventy-fivu guineas per cent, have been paid at Lloyd's on the Jjondon steamer Claverdale, oh licr maiden voyage. She left Hongkong on November 23 with coa] for Vladivostok, and has not been reported since. The dredger Texas, bound from Dantzig to Galveston, foundered in a storm in Uio Bay of Biscay, when 21 were drowned. A boatful of 12 survivors, after being six days without food or water, were rescued delirious. They were landed at Wuterford. The Texas was insured for £26,666. The steamer Clara Panama, bound from Liverpool to Para, foundered in the Irish Sea. Twelve were drowned.
