Customs yielded £710,170; •stamps, £258.324-; railways, £410,620; beer ,duty,. £21,394. The expenditure was £1,427,784. Permanent appropriations amounted to £394,720, and annual appropriations to £933,063. A sum 'of £100,000 was transferred to the Public Worts - I'ima. * , '
