In one or two cases it was perfectly clear it meant something solid, and not liquid at all:" Mr Adams should , inform us as (o t!i9 "some instances" ho mentions, and also as to the "ono or,two cases" he.lastly mentions. He must statp explicitly tho chapter and verso in each case, and also the ipsiisima- verba on which lie relies.—l am, etc., May 30. Inquirer.
