He informed Sergeant Conn, of South Dunedin, \rlio proceeded to Iho Beach, mid eaeily recognised tlio body as Unit of Mr .lames Caircton, who lias been missing from Ilia homo at St. Clair since Friday.- Tlic body, which was fully clothed, excepting a hat, was taken to .\lr Cnuston's residence, where an inquest will bo held by -Mr (Ji-aham, coroner, at 11 o'clock this morning:. It was surmised that a weight would be found tied to the. neck of the nnn who was eccn to drown himself on Friday, but no evidence of tlits whs i-een on Mr Goiiston's body.
