DUNEDIN CYCLING CLUES SPORTS MEETING.

The sports meeting of the Dunedin Cycling Club comes off on Saturday (Boxing Day), on the Caledonian Grounds. The entries received for tho different events have quite exceeded expectations, tho number' of entries for the cycling and motor races totalling the respectable number of 103. The motor bicycle entries total IG—sight in each event,—and judging by. the number of peoplo who have watched training operations nightly during the past fortnight these*races should prove of great interest. The competitors in the bicycle events have proved themselves to bo first-class handicap men in tho past, and the meeting of riders from all parts of the province should be productivoof tome fine finishes. The details of the meeting nave been well looked after, and it now only remains for the public to roll up and show their appreciation of the Dunedin Club's efforts to provide a good day's sport. It may be mentioned that the racing commences at half-past 2 sharp, not a quarter-past as stated on the. tickets.
