MR SIDNEY WOLF'S CONCERT.
We remind 'oiir leaders that Mr Sidney ■Wolfs concert takes place at His Majesty's Theatre to-night, when will be produced tor the first time three entirely new works by British composers-" Hiawatha's 'Wedding Feast,"- Sullivan's great V Te Deuin (which was composed expressly' as a thanksgiving for pence ■in tlic lute war), and three delightful dances for the orchestra hy E. Garmniu. The chorus consists of 70 members, and the orchestra of'2s. Mr R. F. Foster, jun. (tenor), will sing the solo " Onawery, awako, beloved" in the first-named work,' and Mr Sidney Wolf will introduce 'for the fust time to a. Dunedin audience two new singers-pupils of his—Miss G. Jleenan (contralto) and Mr E. Newman (bass). Nearly ail the scats have been reserved at the box office (Messrs 'Begg and Co.), and at the popular, prioes—one shilling and two shillings -there should be a bumper house.
