OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SOCIETY.
~ - The monthly meeting of the committee or the Otago A. and P. Society, held yesterday, was attended by Mr James Gow (vice-president, in the chair), Messrs T. Brydone, W. Patrick, J. Angus, John Elliot, W. Burnett, T. RiUchio, A. Johnson, G. IfacEwan, J. Lethbridgc, A. Todd, A. C. Stronach, W. Souter, C. S. Rcid, \V, Blackie, James Shiel, James Ross, J. C. Gow, ar.d J. \V. Blair. Apologies were received from tho Hon. T. Fergus (president) and Messrs James Patrick, A. jf'Fatlane, AY. Charters, 11. Euckland, ar.d A. S. Orfaell. Accounts nmountins to £103 3s lOd were passed for payment. It was decided to accept the offer of Hr A. M'Meohan, of Chrintchurcli, to supply luncheons and light refreshments on both (lays of the summer show. Tho Grounds Committee reported that the grounds at Tahuna Park were in splendid order this year, and tho large ring an front of the grand stand, which has been manured, top-dressed, and sown down, has now a splendid sward of grass on it. The committee then considered details in connection with the forthcoming summer show, which promises to be quite as successful this year as any previous fixture of the society.
