Sin,—The latest in football may lie wifc. nossed on Sunday afternoons, and, indeed, frequently during lunch hour, and on any fine evening after 4.30, in tho beautiful Market Reserve. -Why the City Council and the Amenities Society allow tho thins to Co on it is difficult to understand. Football among flowers—children tearing pell-mell after each otJicr over the Cower.beds, and unrestrained jumping of fences along Market street and Manor place, are of daily, almost hourly, occurrences, and unless an oxamnlo or two is made of the careless youn? miscroants, who know better, but elect to take their chance, the reserve and its surroundings will soon become a nuisance to ovorybodv Icrhaps if you draw attention to the matter some- steps will be taken to check it Thl pokM hare not got so much to do on Sunday afternoons but that the va?iou 3 A COXTBIBUTPJI to THIUB UfKEH,
