(Received Sept. 30, at 8.57 a.m.) Tlie Daily Express's New York correspondent says that Professor Lorenzo's Woodless operations have proved a failure. •. When the plaster casts were removed from the patients, in four out of eight cases the limbs were found to be gangrenous, two fresh amputations being required. One patient, is dying, While Miss Lolita Armour (the millionaire's daughter), who was under his treatment, is unable to walk.
