CAPTURE OF SUPPOSED BURGLARS.
(Per United Prkss Association.) WELLINGTON, September 13. Last night Ohiof-dctectivc M'Graih and Detc-ctivos Broberg and Cassels arrested two men named Edwin Gray arid Frank King on charges of burglariously entering premises at Feilding, I'almerston North, Mastorton, Petone, and Wellington. Jewellery to tlio value of £300 was found in their possession, which it is alleged connects Ihcm with practically all the burglaries committed iu Wellington for, BOme time past. King resides in a house in Arthur street. When the detectives visited his lodgings ho bolted through a window, _but was captured after ft smart runmp the 'street. The greater part of tho stolen property was deeply buried in a hole in tho back yard. To-day the detective office'presents the appearance of jewellery sample rooms. Tho acoused will appear before the court to-morrow.
