GORE STOCK SALES.

(Fnoa Oun Own Coruksi-ondent.) GORE, April 28. At the Gore stock sales there were about 3000 sheep offered to-day, v/hen (hero was. only a limited number of buyers present. Notwithstanding the small attendance most of the lots changed hands at very satisfactory prices, good wethers and breeding ewes being in strong demand. Fat ewes brought from 8s to 12s 10d, a tew up to 12s lOJd; fat ewes, Gs; fat wethers, up to. Z2s lOd; two-tooth store ewes and wethers, lis Gd to 12s fkl; four and six-tooth ewes, lis 2d for medium sorts; four, six, and eight-tooth ewes sold at from 10s to 12s; aged e'\?es, from 2s fid to ss. Of lambs only a few : were forward, and poor sorts sold at from 4s Cd j to 7s Gd. Of fat cattlo about 40 head were yarded. Fat bullocks brought up f° &<> Jfl3 ! fat cows and heifers. £5 to £ft ss; yearling steers, and heifers sold at from £2 10s to ti.
