L.O.G.T. GRAND LODGE.
(Per United Press Association.) WANGJLNOI, April 16. • At tho meeting of the Grand Lodge, 1.0. G.T., it. wa3 . resolved—" That this Grand Lodge, in session, assembled, protests against any extension of time between the taking of the local option poll." It was resolved that the proposals of tho Grand Lodge Executive to celebrate tho jubilee of Good Templary by the raising of a fund of £500 bb adopted, and expresses a hope that the proposal will 'bo taken tip by every lodgo in New Zealand with enthusiasm;, such fund to be kept separate from the ordinary income, but as soon n? success is assured the executive to be empowered to appoint a travelling agent to visit every lodge and district and endeavour to reopen old and strengthen existing lodges, so that at the next Grand Lodgo session wo can report a large increase in members and lodges. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—G.C.T., Rev. Bro. G. Taylor, (re-elected) ; G.C.R., Bro. George Potherick, Wellington (re-elccted); G.V.T., Sis. M'Brattney, Temuka; G.S.J.T., Sis. Cameron, Dunedin (re-elcctod); G. Treas., Bro. Thorn, Dunedin (re-elected); G. Sec., Bro. D. C. Cameron, Dunodin (re-elocted); Grand Chaplain, Rev. Bro. Graham. ; Grand Marshal, Bro. R. Wilson, Christchucli; G.E.S., Bro. H. G. Vine, Wanganui.
