Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Diin. edin, subject to any necessary alterations, as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.10 a.m. Late •letters, 10.45; also on the mail van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 9.40 a.m. • Late-fee letters must bear, in addition' to the ordinary postage, Id. For Australian States (except Tasmania), per north express, to connect with the Monowai, at 9.50 a.m. For Lytlelton and Cliristchurch, per Tarawera, at 2 p.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 18. VANCOUVER SERVICE. The Moura will leave Auckland on the 22nd, connecting with the Vancouver steamer at Fiji on the 28th. Correspondence (which need not be specially addressed) will close at 9.50 a.m. Due in London 27th May..
