MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Wednesday, Mame 4. (Before Mr E. H. Carew, S.M.) His Worship entered up judgment for tho plaintiffs in each of the following cases, with costs:—Thomson, Bridger, and Co. (Mr Moore) v. Donald Hutton (Cromwell), claim £1 7s Gd, for goods supplied; Walter A. Palmer v. John Neilands (Oamaru), claim £112s lid, for goods supplied. Thomas Paterson and Co. (for whom Mr Mooro appeared) v. John H. Yerex (Oamaru).— Claim £3 10s, on a judgment summons.—Defendant did not appear, and was ordered to pay the amount, together with costs (£1 4s 2d), on April G, 1903; in default five days' imprisonment. James Riley (Qjjeen Island) v. James Gray (Green Island).—Claim £4 ss, for bluegum timber sold and delivered by plaintiff to defendant, and for cartage done in connection with the same-Mr W. R, Brtigh appeared for plaintiff and Mr W. C. MacGregor for defendant.—After hearing the dispute, which lasted well into the afternoon, his Worship found for defendant, with costs (£2 lis). Alexander Palmer v. William Allan (St. Kilda).—Claim £28 14s, for pigs' feed supplied from April 19, 1890, to May 19, 1901.-Mr W. L. Mooro appealed for plaintiff and Mr W. C. MacGregor for defendant.—The case was not concluded when the court adjourned at 5.30.
