OUTRAM v: DUNEDIN. ] A loom from the Dnnedin Bowling Club journeyed by drag to Outram on Saturday to play the "pennant" against the local club. , Tho day was fine, and the outing proved very enjoyable to the Dunedin players. After doing ample justice (o a repast provided by Host "Woods, of the Railway Hotel, after arrival, the Dunedin players were conducted to the Outram green, whore they proved somewhat too strong a combination for such a newly-formed dub. Tho Outram players displayed a most sociable spirit, and look their defeat in excellent spirit. During the afternoon tho Indies supplied the players with tea and cakes, which were thoroughly enjoyed. At the oloso of the game Mi J. C. Short, president of the Dunedin Club, paid a high compliment to the Outram Club for the generous way the visitors had been received, and especially' thanked the ladies for . their kind' attentions.
