BRISBANE, July 11, (Received July 12, at 0.20 a.m.) The Minister of Railways, declining a request not to impose increased freights said in 1893 there were 21,000,000 sheep and 7,000,000 cattle iii Queensland. Now there were only 4,000,000 or 5,000,0uu sheep and about 3,000,000 cattle.
LONDON, July 11. _ (Received July 12, at 1.14 a.m.) The shareholders in tlie Agency, Laud, and Finance Company have agreed on voluntary liquidation owing to losses caused by the prevailing drought.
