At 01aki to-day Harriot Drake was cominittcd for trial on a charge of the manelnuglitoi 1 of Dorothy (Jwc-tulolino Drake, her daughter, aged 7£ years, whom it was alleged succumbcd to the c-lf-:etf- of a whit-ping administered by accused. Bail was allowed in one surety of £400 and (wo of £200 each.
