Three thousand persons were present. Duncan replaced Tom Johnston in the home team, while Trumpet', Trumble, and Howell stood out of the Australians. The wicket was soft. Darling won the toss, and sent the Scotchmen to the wichets, who have so far lost seven wickets for 87 runs, i (Received July 1, at, 3.12 p.m.)' I Scotland are all out for 109. Jones' took five wickets for 38 runs, and Hopkins four for 30. The Australians had lost sis wickets for 383 when stumps were drawn. Duff made 98. (Received July 1, at 10.17 p.m.) The following will represent, England in the third test match:—Maelaren, Jossop, Jackson, Ranjfeinhii, Lorinvood, Abel, Lilley, Rhodes, Hirst-, Braund Tyldesley, Haigh.
