A WARNING.
TO THE'EDITOR. | Sir,—There lias come a change of temper among all classes of modorato users of intoxicating drink. This chango lias been brought about by the frequency in which young men and boys have bebn seen drunk and staggering about our streets on Sundays and holidays. Those interested in the tide or manufacture of liquor would do well to note this fact, as hundreds who, liko myself and family, are disgusted at such sights, are very likely to voto the no-licenso ticket. Tho common cliargo against . prohibitionists is that of unreasonableness, but when tlio trado produces such visible results no honest moderate can deliberately commit hifnself (or herself) to tho support of drunkenness.—l ,711, etc,, • I A MoTnwt. |
