A BYE-ELECTION
Press Aasociotion.-By Telegraph—CopyricUt. LONDON, May 11. (Received May 12, at 10.7 a.m.) The- bye-election for tho House of Commons for tho Bury (Lancashire) seat, rendered vacant owing to Mr J. Kenyon's resignation, resulted in the return of Mr G. Touhnin (Liberal), who polled 4213 votes. The defeated candidate, Mr Hurry Lnivson (Unionist), secured votes. [Tho new member unsuccessfully contested the neat against Mr Kcnyon (C.) in 1900, when ho polled 3283.1
