PRINCESS THEATRE.

The third performance by Mr William Anderson's Dramatic Company of the stirring military and domestic drama, "The Ladder of Life," was witnessed and enjoyed last evening, by another large ■ audience. The splendid acrobatic feats of tho Silveni trio, especially in effecting their entrance to the foundry, and the TC3CUO of Olga Sobinsky ironi deivtli under the Naysmith hammer, wero received with particularly gratifying marits of appreciation. Judging by the enthusiastic applause and laughter the piece has caught the public taste, lhe sentimental portion of the play is relieved by the grotesque acting of Mt Frank Hawthorne and Miss Hilda Fracer, Hiss Fergus's impersonation of the Kussiim refugee is a fine performance. Meg Merriloos was charniin'-lv pnnrtrayed by Miss Fitzmaurice Gill. 3Jr Goo". Coates is to be complimented for bis fino character study of the part of Bill, and Miss iiatnleon Duggan received a double encore for her clever rendering of the'stirring son" Gordons to the front." "The Ladder ol Life" will bo repeated this evening, and until further notice.
