LONDOX, April 21. (Received April-22, at 9.2G a.m.) Tho Picrpont Morgan combination iucludes the White Star, Dominion, Leyknd's, Atlantic. Transport, and the American Red Star Hues, controlling 300. steamers. The North German Lloyd's Hamburg-American line will co-operate with the combination, and it i> expected that the Ciinard line will join. The capital will be £41,700,000.
NEW YORK, April 22. (Received April 22, at 11.2(5 p.m.) The Republican leaders are abandoning the Shipping Subsidy 'Bill. ■ Mr Cramp, the Philadelphia shipbuilder, declares that unless it is passed Mr Morgan's combination will build liners in Great Britain or purchase American shipyards. The shipping combination has closed the .suscription books. It is , proposed to develop each port along the lines where best adapted. Steamers during the winter months will be restricted according to the number of passengers. Summer fares and winter fares are classified according to the speed and tonnage of the steamers employed.
