An instance of the bitter fooling existing in tho district occasioned by the lute inquiry, by the Kducution Board into school inattern here has been brought under my notice. The comet is now visible nightly between l> mill 7 o'clock. On Saturday night a splendid view of it was obtained for some threequartern of an hour, but latl evening, on account of (lectin;; clouds, only partial glimpses of it were secured.
