HIGH SCHOOLBOYS' SWIMMING TOURNAMENT.

A swimming tournament among the boys attending tin- High School was hckl at Morgnn'x Hath* yesterday afternoon, nnd proved ;i very successful affair, (specially when the fuel that it was the first tiling of the kind among the boys is taken inlo consideration. Dγ Brown, at the conclusion of the. tournament,- eaid the swimming was o::e of the finest things the school had iinderinken for many a clay. He thought they would all agree with him that the success of the. tournament was largely duo to tile innuendo energy dispityed by Mr Haima, who had been ably assisted by Mr Pcarce in the coaching ot the boys. Mr Hnniia hull been granted leave by the Board of Governors to take a six months' trio to the old country, and he proposed to upend a good deal of liis time ut- the Aldcrshot Gymnasium. Ho called for three cheers for Instructor Henna, which were given with great heartiness. Cheers were also given for Dr Brown, Mr Pearce, and for young Kalilenbcrg, who had ■won the Championship of the school.
