* ; Owing to the water proving too rough on Saturday tlio Eight-oar Challenge Race between the holders (North End) and the Queen's Drive Boating Clubs had to be postponed. The sub-committee (Messrs !■. E. Wilson and W. J. P. Hodgkins) are endeavouring to arrange a suitable time during the week. The other Challenge Race between the double sculling crews of tho O.R.C. and N.E.B.C. was also prevented from taking place, and has been mutually agreed upon to come off on Wednesday evening. ' The following crews have been chosen to represent the Dunedin Amateur Boating Club in their Anniversary Fours for the president's (Mr C. P. Greenslade) trophies:— T. Bond (stroke), A. Conncll, A. Third heat: F. C. Dawson meets D. Patcrson and A. Watson. The first heat will be rowed to-night (Monday), at 6 30 o'clock sharp. As the nights are drawing in, it is absolutely necessary that those taking part should be at the boathouee not later than the above time, otherwise their places will be filled.
