Adjutant Canty and his wife, who have been members of tho Salvation Army for 17 years, have travelled extensivel/in assisting the good work of the army, " which," said Mrs Canty to a reporter, " although the greatest pleaturo Wβ have in life, is work only particularly suited to those possessing a lot of energy and strong constitutions. About eight years ago, when engaged in some special Salvation work —I had then been ailing for soino time—l became a victim to general debility, severe headaches, and swollen and aching limbs. My appetite was very poor, and I gained no strength from my food. A full meal distressed me. As time went on I grew extremely weak, and my work was hampered. Many doctors at different times were consulted, but no apparent benefit was derived. Ordinary medicines proved useless.
