.The meeting of the Land Ijjoard, held yesterday, was attended by Messrs D. Barron (chairwan), Clark, Dallas, Duncan, and Kirkpatrick. ; 'Alfred Whiteley applied for a license to occupy section 2, block.l, Hummock district, for grazing purposes.—Referral to ranger for report. Ranger Atkinson reported on the area held under liconse by Thomas. Keeuan at St. Bathans.—Mr Keenan to be asked to pay increased rent accordingly. '.. Guyatt to occupy section 49, block I, •Warepft district. The Receiver of land Revenue reported that James L. M'Lelland had paid arrears upon his perpetual lease.—Forfeiture respinded. . Ranger Atkinson forwarded a report on sections 1 to i, 17 and IJQ, block LIII, and 7 tq 14, block lilV, town of Hampden, and suggested that the rental be increased to 5s per acre.—

John Dunlop applied to bo'allowed to acquire, without competition, Ecction 17, block XIII, Rimu district. Granted under the 114 th clause of the Land Act, at 20s per acre. Hanger Atkinson forwarded a valuation of improvements on Rection 1, block VIII, Domet district, and run 17a.—The lessee of tho adjoining run, John Porter, to be allowed a month after sale within which to remove the'fence on the north side. The tender of John Hally of p.% for the purchase of 25 acres of oats on the Earnscleugh Run was accepted. The surrender of J. R. W. Bowers of sections 18, 19, 35 to 39, block VI, Rankleburo district, was accepted. The request of settlers'on the Jlnerewhenua estate requesting » concession on account of damage to their crops by a severe hajlatorm was referred to Ranger Atkinson to report. The application of residents in Vaipiata that section 228, town of Komako bo set aside as a, cemetery was approved. It waa decided that D. Williams be offered a grazing right over sections 9, 10, 11, Woek VIII 9 10, U. block IX, and section 1, block 11, Kur'iwao, for six months at dd per acre per annum. \
